This morning we installed "The Threads That Connect Us" at the Social Art Gallery of Family and Children's Service of the Capital Region in Albany [FCSCR], our hosts for the event. The exhibit is sponsored by Art'n Soul [ANS], and features the work of three ANS artists: Diane Evans, a new piece by Kathryn Greenwold, and me.The gallery is a spacious room with a sophisticated and adaptive system for hanging art.
While the process took us a bit longer than expected, the trick seemed more a question of deciding which piece should go where. Once we got going, it fell into place.

For those attending our opening, Friday, January 7, between 5-9 pm, we'll have a few words to say at 7 PM. If you read this blog from a distant location, here are some pictures I captured today when we were nearly done. Let us know what you think!!

I think these photos are terrific, and the quilts look like total fun! However, I may be a little prejudiced . . .
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Friday!
